Nazmul Hoq — A Photographer at Heart

Nazmul Hoq is a passionate photographer whose love for the art began in childhood, inspired by the world’s endless colors, stories, and emotions. Born in 1980 in Dhaka, Nazmul discovered early on that photography offered him a unique lens through which to explore and capture the beauty of life.

His formal journey behind the camera began in 2012. He honed his craft through Basic and Foundation courses at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute and earned a Diploma in Photography from Counter Foto.

Nazmul has a deep passion for travel — both within Bangladesh and across the world — seeking new landscapes, cultures, and moments to frame. He holds a particular interest in documentary photography, using his camera to tell authentic stories of people and places. His work has been featured in several exhibitions and published in calendars, a testament to his keen eye and dedication.

While Nazmul has built a professional career in banking, photography remains his true calling — a pursuit that brings him joy, purpose, and endless inspiration.
